From sketch comedy to TV news, Matt had a long and noteworthy career in television before starting Five Stars Creative in 2007. His industry accolades include three Emmy Awards, and he is a winner of Electronic Media’s Photographer of the Year honor. A former board member of the National Press Photographers Association, Matt is known across the country for his commitment to quality visual storytelling and his mentorship of young photojournalists.

An avid hiker and wine collector, Matt lives as close as humanly possible to Red Rock Canyon with his wife, Cheryl, and four teenagers. Matt’s family is passionate about animal rescue, especially senior dogs.
